Adobe Stock sales guide

Discovery

To successfully scope out the right product and solution for your customer, it’s important to do plenty of research in the form of discovery. This is where broad and guided questions become your best friend. We recommend starting with broad questions and moving onto more guided, focused questions. When you notice an area of frustration or opportunity, slow down and ask more specific questions about it.

Perform broad and guided discovery

When talking to potential customers, find out if they need Adobe Stock by asking these qualifying questions about their needs.

TIP: Keep it conversational. Remember to listen to the customer’s needs.

Depending on their answers, you can determine if they are good candidates for Adobe Stock and share its benefits.

They may also qualify for a call that will add additional value from the Stock team directly.

To explore the customer’s needs, consider asking:

  • What version of Creative Cloud are you currently using?
  • Describe what your workflow is like on your team. Who do you work with (photographers creatives, and so forth)?
  • How many users do you manage?
  • As an admin, are you also a creative user?
  • Do you currently use Creative Cloud for teams?
  • Do you have a current subscription with another stock provider, and if so, when does it expire?
