Notice: Creative Cloud for enterprise non–Pro Edition renewal SKU clarification


Please note that in select regions, the Creative Cloud for enterprise non–Pro Edition renewal SKUS were inadvertently moved back to the published price lists on the November 2023 price list. As per the previously announced Creative Cloud for enterprise Pro Edition optimization policy rolled out in October 2022, these renewal SKUs should only be used for specific approved renewal deals in all regions except mainland China or Latin America. These renewal SKUs will be once again removed from the commercial segment published price lists in all regions except mainland China or Latin America for December 2023 onwards.

 

VIP Marketplace education and government release date now January 18, 2024


To ensure the best experience for partners and customers, the release of VIP Marketplace capabilities for the education and government market segments has been rescheduled to January 18, 2024 to accommodate further testing. 

Important dates

  • November 16, 2023—APIs will be released and can be integrated by Adobe’s direct partners into their marketplace platforms.
  • January 18, 2024—Offers will be released with a First Order Date of January 18, 2024. This means that while integrations can occur as early as November 16, orders cannot be placed until January 18.

We appreciate your patience and your partnership as we work to ensure this release accommodates the various complexities of these market segments to ensure a smooth release.

Reminder on 3-year commit discounts in VIP Marketplace


The minimum commitment must auto-renew in VIP Marketplace in order to obtain the 3-year commit discount. 

VIP Marketplace 3-year commit 

With the 3-year commit option in VIP Marketplace, a VIP Marketplace member agrees that a set number of licenses (the minimum commitment) will auto-renew on the member’s first and second anniversary date in VIP Marketplace. In exchange, Adobe agrees to offer set discounted partner pricing during the member’s 3-year commit agreement term. As a reminder, the requirement to have auto-renewal enabled and to auto-renew the minimum commitment quantity of licenses is systematically enforced if a member chooses to enroll in VIP Marketplace 3-year commit in order to receive the corresponding discount. VIP Marketplace members with 3-year commit cannot opt out of auto-renewal for the minimum commit.  See the VIP Marketplace 3-year commit amendment

 VIP 3-year commit 

On March 28, 2023, Adobe updated the VIP 3-year commit amendment.  A VIP member that agrees to the updated VIP 3YC Amendment agrees to annually renew the minimum commitment and have the minimum commitment auto-renew upon migration to VIP Marketplace.  In exchange, Adobe agrees to offer set discounted partner pricing during the member’s 3-year commit agreement term. This means that all customers that accepted VIP 3-year commit beginning March 28, 2023 agree to auto-renew their minimum commitment once these customers migrate to VIP Marketplace. 

From the VIP 3-year commit amendment:

“4. Migration from VIP to VIP Marketplace.  If Member migrates their licenses from VIP to VIP Marketplace, then Member agrees to auto-renew at least the Minimum Number of Licenses in VIP Marketplace.”
