Reminder: Foundational learning paths tailored for SMB & Midmarket

We believe part of building a world-class sales organization includes starting each journey at Adobe with an amazing new-hire sales training experience. The Global Sales Enablement team is excited to announce the launch of our tailored, foundational learning paths, and regional meet-n-greet sessions for new hires.

These role-based learning paths deliver foundational product, sales skills, buying programs, and sales systems & tools training designed to minimize ramp time and improve new hire productivity. New hires will register for live meet-and-greet sessions hosted by our regional trainers. These are designed to build community and to support our new team members through their learner journey.

How it works

Beginning March 15, the Adobe Talent Operations team will direct our CSMB sales new hires to the Consumer & Business Connection website where they will be greeted with a new hire video on how to get started, along with:

  • A Consumer & Business Connection welcome and introduction video
  • A link to register for a live, new hire meet-and-greet call* with our Adobe regional trainers, including a Consumer & Business Connection tour
  • An introduction to the Business Customer Journey and its valuable tools and assets
  • Guidance to a role-based 10-day learning path that contains self-paced eLearning and an introduction to sales guides, the Sign playbook, helpful resources, and more

* FY22 new hire meet-and-greet calls will follow the corporate Adobe Life orientation schedule.

Who can attend the new hire meet-and-greet sessions?

All CSMB DMe sellers new to Adobe (including new partners) or those needing a refresher on how to leverage the available CSMB enablement—including assets, product information, customer resources, and an introduction to the Business Customer Journey—can attend.

Completion of the new hire learning path is mandatory to ensure our sales new hires begin their journey with the right sales tools. The learning paths help hiring managers provide clarity on expectations and create consistency across all incoming new hires. Additionally, these predetermined learning paths provide direction for new hires to begin self-led discovery on their learning journey at Adobe.

How can I get my partners involved?

Good news: We have a dedicated learning path for partner sellers. Channel Account Managers can direct their partner new hires to the New Hire Foundational Learning Path page for partners on Consumer & Business Conenction to begin their onboarding journey. (Partner credentials are required to access the partner learning paths. Employees will get an error page.) Here they will start their 10-day learning path and be directed to the event calendar to register to attend a meet-and-greet session.

Be UNSTOPPABLE and happy learning!

Reminder: New self-service VIP reseller change process

We are excited to announce a new self-service reseller change process for VIP members. Previously, resellers needed to complete a request form, which required the member’s signature and a manual review for processing by Adobe. This new process reduces the time needed for a member to change their reseller from days to minutes, since resellers can initiate the process from within the Reseller Console without assistance from Adobe. Members can place orders with their new reseller immediately upon completion of this simple workflow.

Here’s how it works:

  1. The member selects a new reseller, using the partner finder for a list of authorized resellers in their region.
  2. The new reseller generates a reseller change code in the Reseller Console.
    • The member’s VIP number and admin email are required.
    • The reseller change code is sent to the member via email.
  3. The member enters the reseller change code in the Adobe Admin Console to complete the process.

Reseller change codes are valid for 72 hours. If the reseller change code is not used within this time, the reseller can create a new one, up to a limit of 5 per reseller per day. Both the old and new resellers are notified via email when the reseller change is completed.
