VIP Marketplace API update to display list of recently deployed licenses 

VIP Marketplace direct partners can now make an API call to display a list of customers and licenses that have been deployed by customer admins via the Admin Console in the previous seven days. This update enables partners to reach out to customers about outstanding payments due for recently deployed licenses. See the API documentation or contact your Adobe technical representative for information on the required API update.

Reminder: Update on Firefly Generative Credit Add-on plan SKUs (VIP/VIP MP

The Generative Credit Add-on plan SKUs are published on the VIP and VIP Marketplace price lists in anticipation of enforcement of generative credits later in 2024. Although these SKUs are on the price lists, there is no need for customers to purchase these plans for Teams or Enterprise customers until enforcement of generative credits begins for their plans. Attempts to place orders using these SKUs will result in an error. Additional communication will be provided when enforcement of generative credits for Teams and Enterprise plans is scheduled to begin.

 

Reminder: Change to distributor requirements for authorizing VIP Marketplace government and education resellers

In response to partner feedback received since the launch of government and education support in VIP Marketplace, Adobe will not require distributors to authorize resellers for the government and education market segments. This includes all training, compliance review, and risk management activities for authorization to resell government and education offerings previously communicated as distributor responsibilities. Adobe will continue to authorize VIP Marketplace resellers for government and education through the Adobe Partner Connection (APC) program.

Distributors will be responsible for:

  1. confirming the current authorization status with Adobe of any distributor- authorized reseller who wishes to sell to government and/or education customers, and
  2. applying the appropriate market segment designation/s to the reseller’s account in the distributor’s marketplace to enable government and/or education transactions.
