WHAT'S HAPPENING

Updated process: Explicit acceptance now required by delegates for Creative Cloud

We recently introduced updates to our Adobe cloud storage model. These updates will improve the way business customers store, manage, and securely collaborate on creative projects in the future.

However, this update has an impact on the actions required by delegates to access their apps. Until recently, when an admin added a delegate to their organization, delegates were able to simply log in to Creative Cloud and get started. An email with a “Click here to get started” message was sent, but no action was required by the delegate to activate their license.

With this update, delegates must explicitly accept the email invitation by clicking the “Click here to get started” button. Once they have done this, they can log in to Creative Cloud and get to work.

Please review this process and ensure delegates know to complete Step 4:

  1. Customer places order with reseller.
  2. Admin adds delegates to organization.
  3. Delegates get email with a “Click here to get started” link.
  4. Delegates click the link in the email to access their Creative Cloud account.

Note: If the delegate simply logs in without clicking the link in the email, they will be unable to access the applications.

Please ensure you communicate this to your customers in order to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. If you have questions, please contact your Adobe Channel Account Manager or distributor.

Spark and Premiere Rush Single Apps end of sale for new teams and enterprise customers

Adobe is no longer selling Spark or Premiere Rush Single App plans to new teams and enterprise customers.
Please renew existing Spark customers to Premiere Rush Single App, which includes access to Spark, at no additional cost.

Download a short guide to assist your contract admins with next steps..

What do I need to know?

  • Spark, Premiere Rush, and Premiere Rush Pro Edition Single App plans for teams and enterprise are no longer orderable from the published price lists as of June 14, 2021.
  • InCopy and Substance will have Spark removed at the customers’ next renewal.

What can I sell to renewing customers?

  • If customers who had previously purchased Spark Single App want to place add-on or renewal orders, you can sell them the Premiere Rush Single App plan for the most equivalent value (for the same price as Spark Single App). Please contact your Adobe Channel Account Manager to place the order for Premiere Rush Single App.
  • If customers who had previously purchased Premiere Rush Single App or Premiere Rush Pro Edition wish to continue, they will be able to do so. Please contact your Adobe Channel Account Manager.

What do I sell if a new customer wants Spark as a new contract on or after June 14?

  • A new customer is defined here as any customer who did not previously purchase the Spark Single App plan.
  • Customers can purchase any CC Single App (except for InCopy and Substance) or CC All Apps to get the full Spark value, at no additional cost.

What changes have been made to the VIP price lists?

  • Spark Single App for teams and enterprise plans have been removed from the price lists, meaning no customers will be able to renew or buy net new Spark Single App licenses.
  • Premiere Rush and Premiere Rush Pro Single App plans for teams and for enterprise have been moved to the 3YC and unpublished price lists, meaning you can sell these unpublished SKUs only to customers who had previously purchased these plans and need an add-on or renewal order.

What would happen to the end user’s product experience once the  ontract is renewed from Spark Single App to Rush Single App?

  • If the end user is on Spark today, his or her experience won’t be impacted if the contract is changed from Spark Single App to Premiere Rush Single App (or another Creative Cloud Single App or All Apps plan with Spark entitlements).
  • The end user will still be able to access his or her projects in Spark. The product experience will remain the same.

Will Spark be removed from other plans?

  • The Spark entitlement will be removed from InCopy Single App for teams and enterprise plans that renew on or after June 15, 2021.
  • The Spark entitlement will be removed from Substance enterprise plans that renew on or after June 23, 2021.

Announcing: Localized calendar pages now available on C&B Connection

Adobe employees and partners that use the localized versions of Consumer & Business Connection can now find localized event pages. Instead of switching to the English version of C&B Connection to find event information, you can now access three new event pages on your local site, including:

  • Calendar of events—Find all upcoming events or revisit archived events. Filter by date, region, event type, or product. Or search events by keyword.
  • eSeminars—See all eSeminars from newest to oldest.
  • Enablement Labs—See all Enablement labs from newest to oldest.

All regions will see Worldwide events (in English) on their new localized pages. And regions that host local events will also see a Local tab on each page for localized event information and supporting content. If you have localized events you would like to add to these pages, contact cbgse@adobe.com.

You must sign in with your partner or employee credentials to see the Enablement Labs page and most of the recent calendar events, including many eSeminars. If you have any trouble signing into C&B Connection, visit the Register page to troubleshoot or learn how to register for credentials.
