New Acrobat DC customer webinar series

We are excited to announce a new customer webinar series for Acrobat DC. The overall theme of this series is “Boost your IT efficiencies and workforce productivity with Acrobat DC.” It is intended for IT in small and medium sized businesses that own previous versions of Acrobat perpetual, as well as prospects that could benefit from learning more about Acrobat DC.

The first webinar is entitled “Learn how to save time and increase productivity with Microsoft and Adobe Acrobat DC” and is live on September 17 at 8am PT.  This webinar includes a demo on how to convert, organize, and combine PDFs with a single click in SharePoint and One Drive, as well as best practices for centrally deploying and managing the integrations using the Office 365 Admin Tools. After each webinar, the events will be available on demand.

You will find partner promo assets, including email templates, website banners, social assets, and a campaign execution guide in the Acrobat IT Webinar Series promo kit. Please help us get the word out to your Acrobat and Microsoft customers and prospects about this exciting and informative event.

Adobe ANZ welcomes Santos to the VIP family

Reported by Brent Irwin, director of partner sales and SMB, ANZ       

Sandra DiCamillo has done it again. It’s my great pleasure to welcome Santos to the rapidly growing VIP family after having placed an order for 700 Acrobat DC for enterprise seats this week.

Santos has a very interesting history when it comes to their past licencsing arrangement with Adobe. A number of years ago, they were on an ETLA. However due to the significant impact the mining downfall had, the business ultimately was forced to cut costs and anull the ETLA, only to reinstall all their old perpetual licences.

In June 2019, we re-engaged via our partner, Data#3 in Adelaide, and proposed going back to VIP with an option for 500, 700, or 1,000 Acrobat seats. The great news is that last year Sandra was also engaged with another mining company, Quadrant Energy, proposing a perpetual migration. During the course of our discussions with Santos, an acquisition was taking place for Quadrant, which added fuel to the fire resulting in a purchase of 700 Acrobat for enterprise licenses with room to grow in the future.

Sandra and team want to highly commend Sean Sounes from our reseller partner Data#3 in Adelaide for his knowledge on Adobe licensing and utmost professionalism while we were working collaboratively on this particular opportunity. Sandra and Sean have an excellent and trusting rapport, so much so that they are already working on the next giant deal.

Admin Console Sandbox for Value Incentive Plan (VIP)

The Admin Console is a single interface that gives admins one place to log in and manage their users and licenses. Use this sandbox to see what VIP admins will have access to, but keep in mind that demo accounts can have some limitations because engineering priority is placed on the production version. This specific sandbox has a mix of team and enterprise offerings, so you can see the different features (like provisioning by user group) side by side. If you wish to share this sandbox with a customer, please do so by sharing your screen and guiding them. But please don't share this link for independent use.
